Our story began in Venezuela…
Our resident mixologist, Mikey grew up in Venezuela, which led to a passion for flavours, quality ingredients and of course, cocktails. Mikey worked as a Mixologist in Texas, USA, where he mastered his craft and began experimenting with different flavours and blends.
After moving to the UK, Mikey missed the feeling of craftmanship and wanted to bring his passion for Latin American cocktails to Milton Keynes and beyond. He was working the event scene and in bars across the UK, but Mikey found that there was a missing piece in the market. There was a huge demand for fresh and exotic tasting cocktails, but the cocktail offerings available to party goers were often uninspiring and came with a premium price.
So during lockdown 2020, Papi and his partner Anna decided to challenge the cocktail scene and provide something inspiring, fresh, exotic and new. Cue Papi’s Cocktails!
All of our menus and creations are inspired by the breath-taking countries of Latin America. We love to celebrate the tropical and delicious flavours of the nation, along with their colourful energy. But that doesn’t mean you won’t find us with a classic cocktail (or a few!) in hand too. We love to bring to life new creations but we also get a kick out of putting a Papi’s twist on the classics.
Whether it’s a cucumber and jalapeno mojito, a classic espresso martini, or a completely bespoke cocktail for your event, we have you covered!
